rhea - BODY PLUMES





Our premium rhea tail feathers have been a big seller for us for many years. Recently we came across a supply of smaller body feathers that are truly unique. These plumes (which come in large and medium) have the same fantastic qualities as the larger tail feathers, though are smaller and have a very supple stem. Perfect for winding on as a spey plume. These feathers are also very easy to split to get extra value!





We love using these feathers to make extra "buggy" looking flies. Often, we will palmer them on across a tube body to really add some movement to a fly!





If you are familiar with emu feathers, these are similar, except the barbs are mush longer and are also finer, with hardy any of the fuzziness.
